About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytically strong Consultant to join our delivery team in Cape Town.
This is a hands-on role that blends business analysis, solution design, data migration and client support. You’ll work directly with clients to understand how they operate, gather requirements, design solutions and help configure and support ERP implementations from start to finish.
The role suits someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and translating complex information into practical insights. You’ll be comfortable using tools like Excel and SQL, working with relational databases and exploring how systems connect across business functions.
You don’t need to arrive with deep ERP or Odoo knowledge. We value people who can figure things out, learn quickly and proactively build expertise. What matters most is a strong analytical foundation, curiosity and the ability to engage confidently with clients in both technical and business discussions.
Responsibilities
- Gather client requirements, run workshops and deliver client presentations
- Map and document business processes across various business functions
- Assist with ERP configuration, testing and rollout
- Translate client requirements into functional specifications for developers
- Clean, migrate and validate client data
- Build and maintain reports using Excel and SQL
- Lead data migration, cleansing and manipulation activities
- Perform data analytics and reporting to support decision-making
- Configure and customise ERP solutions and underlying databases
- Provide client support and troubleshoot post-implementation queries
- Collaborate with consultants, developers and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Science (Analytics), Information Systems, Industrial or Systems Engineering, Applied Statistics or any data-intensive field
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, models, data manipulation)
- Exposure to SQL, databases or other data-driven tools
- Natural problem-solver with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client-facing confidence
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Calm under pressure with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Independent, solutions-focused and detail-driven
- Proactive, organised and eager to learn
Nice to have
- Exposure to Python, Power BI or data visualisation
- Experience with or interest in ERP systems such as Odoo
- Familiarity with statistics, coding or broader data science concepts
- Experience improving business processes or operational workflows
